  1. What information do we collect?

Business Data:

We may hold your business contact data if you are a purchaser of advertising or other media opportunities, in order to speak to you about CHP and its offerings. This data may have been supplied directly to us by you or via one of our sales partners. It is held on a central database to enable us to manage and monitor contact preferences and can only be used where the potential opportunity with CHP might be relevant to you in your business capacity.

Our sales partners are Tandem Media Ltd, Warners Group Publications Plcand Walstead Group Ltd.

Other ways in which data may be collected include completing a contact form or signing up to a newsletter via our website.

The business data we hold centrally may include your name, job title, company or business name and contact details, including your email and telephone number where supplied.

The legal basis for processing your data is ‘legitimate interest’ because CHP benefits from advertising and other media opportunities booked across the range of its magazine titles.

You may ask to see the data we hold about you by contacting our data controller – please see Section One above. You may also ask for your data to be deleted by contacting our data controller.

Personal Data:

We may hold your personal information and use it to contact you if you sign up to our services, such as website forums or blogs, newsletters, enter competitions, buy a magazine, order products or take up a reader offer.

The personal information we hold may include your name, email address, postal address, telephone or mobile number, date of birth and any specific requests, events or magazine titles that you may have purchased or enquired about.

We do not store credit or debit card details.

Relevant personal data may be shared with contracted third party companies engaged to fulfil our subscription obligations and/or to deliver products and services. We will not share any of your personal details with any other third party companies for marketing purposes without collecting your explicit consent.

The legal basis for processing your data is ‘legitimate interest’. CHP benefit from subscriptions, advertising and sales of products and would like you to order again.

We will continue contacting you after you have stopped being an active customer for a period of two years. After this point, we will either delete your data or keep it because you have asked us to.

You may ask to see the data we hold about you by contacting our data controller – please see Section One above. You may also ask for your data to be deleted by contacting our data controller.

Suppliers:

We may hold information about suppliers to enable us to contact you. This information may include your name, job title, work email address and telephone number(s). We will continue to hold your information for two years after your last invoice with us.

The legal basis for processing your data is ‘contract’ while we are your customer. When you are no longer an active supplier, it is ‘legitimate interest’ because we may want to order from you again.

A Cookie is a small text file that stores a small amount of data about your website visit. We may use Cookies to:
